The law of intention and desire is based upon the recognition that at the level of the quantum field there is nothing but energy and information. Pure potential is influenced by our intention and desire. We all experience the quantum field through our thoughts, feelings, memories, desires and needs. Our mind and body act as one collection of thoughts (mind), and molecules (body), in the same reality. The ancient sages referred to this as "Tat Tvam Asi," which means, "I am that, you are that, all this is that, and that's all there is."
Understanding that every being housed in their temple or body, is not separate from the body of the universe. Therefore, if you change the energy in your own body, you change the energy in your extended body, your environment and your world. This change is activated through intention and the attention to bring to your intention. Intention transforms! Therefore, if you want something to grow stronger in your life, direct more attention to it. If you want something to diminish, withdraw your attention from it.
To harness the power of the Law of Intention and Desire in your life, follow these three steps:
1. Be clear about your intentions and desires. It is extremely effective and powerful to write down a list of those things you want to manifest in your life. Review this list on a daily basis before meditation, prayer or your yoga practice. Modify your list as your desires are fulfilled or transformed. Taking the time to document your desires, accelerates the process of manifesting them into the physical world.
2. Once you bring your intentions and desires into your conscious awareness, let go of the outcome. Trust when the time is ripe things will happen and not before. Maintain an attitude of surrender. Move through your day and through your yoga practice seeing your intentions coming to life.
3. Remind yourself to practice present moment awareness as you move through your day. Things will invariably get in the way but don't engage in the drama, the stories the mind creates. Just be fully present and set your mind to your intentions.
Here is a mantra you can use for the law of intention and desire:
"Om Ritam Namah"
The translation: My intentions and desires are supported by cosmic intelligence.
