The element of earth has such a wonderful quality when it comes to feeling grounded and well-nourished. This element is associated with sweet pleasure - sweet tastes, and that creates a good mood and harmonious feel. When we feel well-nourished it distributes the energy evenly to all the cells of our body. Connective tissue in the body is especially fueled by this element. When there is a balanced amount of earth in our environment and in our food choices it helps to balance our body, mind and soul. Here are a few ways to infuse this element:
- Incorporate different types of stone materials in your decor
- Use earthy colors and especially in the earth portents
- Take up earth activities such as gardening, yoga, meditation or qigong
- Fix yourself an earth based meal such as barley soup with vegetable
