Ms. Feng Shui Tips Tea Totaler - Tap into You!

It's snowing hard and I am sipping some nice organic black tea. While sitting here I thought; "How can I tap into me?" That's a deep question let alone what to do with it from a feng shui perspective. Well, the truth of the matter is we can do a great deal from a feng shui perspective. Connecting to higher self is one way to tap in. Based on the maco/microcosm concept, our environment should align to us personally. In doing so, we naturally increase our own vibration so we can begin to delve into the original question; "How can I tap into me?"

One of the most powerful areas of self evaluation is the northeast portent. Here, the mountain energy calls us to remain still, to turn down the volume of thinking mind, and tap into higher self where we can learn so much about who we are. When this area is aligned elementally and artistically (imagery), it naturally catapults us to get quiet, meditate, and listen to the voice within. So what can you do to get started? Here are few simple things you can do in your environment to ignite inner quietude.

  • Make sure the northeast portent of your home aligns to the fire or earth element in accent pieces and color choices.
  • Think of images that are earthy - mountain ranges or desert scenes and those that exude wisdom - Buddha, Christ, Dalai Lama, etc.
  • Find ample room to roll out your yoga mat or meditation cushion to remind you to tap in!
These are just a few things you can do to open up your environment in order to tap into YOU!
